Economics is a key for those who want to succeed in the life. I am glad to invite you to our Department of Economics of Bhausaheb Lahane Dnyanprakash Arts College from rural background. Life is less without economic knowledge. Economics is the supreme science. It will make able students to architect their career. We always promote students in different economic research activities. Department always put its effort for outcome based education.
Economics subject has been introduce in the college since it`s establishment 1995. Principal Dr V. C. Kharode working as head and Associate Professor Dr Pankaj Tayde coordinate. In the first academic session 1995 only 17 (seventeen) students have sought admission for Economics. Afterword we create interest among the students regarding economics. Also impart knowledge about uses of economic theories in their daily life. Due to this in present 170 students have opted economics at degree level. Department had introduced Ph.D. research center for doctoral research. It is supreme achievement of department. Fore research students and doing their Ph.D. research under the supervision of Dr Pankaj Tayde.
